Hopefully those of you that have given us an e-mail address will have received your first CDRC Newsletter by email.
Two versions have been sent out - one to print and one to read on screen. To save ink and to reduce printing time it may be wise to print in black & white, double sided (Duplex) and choose the 'draft' print quality.
If you have any technical queries regarding printing your newsletter then by all means use the contact form - and i will try and help. |

Those of you who have been to the CDRC annual AGM will be aware that that is the occasion when we hand out our wonderful trophies. This year we would like to open up the nominations to all CDRC members in case somebody is busy being brilliant and we haven’t heard about it!
You may nominate as many people as you wish but not yourself. The list of nominees will be published in the newsletter in September for all club members to vote on the selection. Winners will be announced on the night of the AGM. |

You will (hopefully!) note that the membership fee has gone up for the first time in years. It has increased £1 per member in line with the Head Office fees to the club and the other increased costs, plus we are desperate to buy a new caravan so are putting the other £1 each towards that purchase.
Even with the £2 increase we are still much cheaper than other clubs. |

Club Image / Logo
We Need Your Input |
As we are lucky enough to be able to send teams to most of the area competitions discussion has taken place regarding the club “image”. It is our hope that when teams are out competing for CDRC that they are a) recognised as being from CDRC and b) look like a team!.
This is where your help is required. We would like ideas for a Club Logo that can be used on Numnahs etc. So to all you arty people out there let us have your ideas. I am sure we can rustle up a prize for the winning submission. |
